When Yao Yue found out that Jiang Feng whom she loved was in love with her maidservant Hua Yue Nu and Hua Yue Nu was pregnant, she decided to hunt them down after they fled Yihua palace. After the couple died, Yao Yue adopted Hua Wu Que, while leaving Xiao Yu Er to die. However, Xiao Yu Er was saved and adopted by some villains and was raised by them. Xiao Yu Er's body was covered in scars due to his brutal upbringings and he preferred to use his intelligence and cunning to overcome challenges. Years later, Hua Wu Que and Xiao Yu Er met again. They became friends and even rivals in love. Eventually, they found out the truth about their blood link and the death of their real parents.

Two Most Honorable Knights (Chinese: 絕代雙驕) is a 1988 TVB Wuxia drama series and is also known as "The Duel of the Twins". It is adapted from a wuxia novel published in 1966 by Gu Long. The title of the novel is also known as 'The Peerless Proud Twins'. It is about a pair of twin brothers who were separated at birth and raised on opposing sides due to feud between two formidable martial artist. It stars Tony Leung as Xiao Yu Er and Hugo Ng as Hua Wu Que.
