The Superpower (Chinese: 天降財神) (1983)

Kwok Hak-cung(Tony Leung) saved an extraterrestrial alien who crashed from space and it nearly died from the crash. To repay Kwok from saving his life, the alien then helped Kwok in things such as helping him to avert disasters and winning lotteries by using its ability to foretell the future. Later as Kwok wanted to scam insurance claims, Kwok set fire to a store. It was this incident that led Kwok realize the alien's true identity.

The Superpower (Chinese: 天降財神) is a TVB science fiction, comedy drama. It debuted in Hong Kong in 1983.
