The Silent War is a 2012 Chinese-Hong Kong thriller film directed by Alan Mak and Felix Chong which is an adaptation of the popular novel Plot Against written by Mai Jia. The film won Best Cinematography at the 32nd Hong Kong Film Award.

He Bing(Tony Leung) is a blind man who works for a piano tuner. He is recruited for a spy mission because of his exceptional talents in hearing. The drama film is set in the 1950s and deals with subterfuge, hidden romance and spies.
