Start-Up (Korean: 스타트업) is a South Korean television series starring Bae Suzy, Nam Joo-hyuk, Kim Seon-ho and Kang Han-na. The series revolves around a woman who has lofty entrepreneurial dream and her subsequent love triangle between a man who is pretending to be her first love and another man who is secretly her first love.

The background of the story is set in the midst of Korea’s Silicon Valley known as Sandbox and it revolves around Dalmi trying to start her own start up company and Do San working on his struggling start up company.

Seo Dal-mi (Bae Suzy) is a bright and ambitious young woman who dreams of becoming Korea’s Steve Jobs. She is enthusiastic about her work despite not having a fancy background. She has experience in a wide range of part-time jobs.

Nam Do-san(Nam Joo Hyuk) is the founder of Samsan Tech. He was once the pride of his family for being a maths genius since young. However, his business has not improved for the past two years. A series of events leads Dalmi to believe Do San wrote her letters when they were younger and that Do San was her first love. Since Dal Mi misunderstood him as her first love, Do-San decides to go along with the mistake in the hope of turning that misunderstanding into reality.

Han Ji Pyung (Kim Seon-Ho) was an orphan as a child but is now a successful businessman in the world of startups. His astute investment skills and sharp tongue made him known as the Gordon Ramsay of Investment. He is the one who actually wrote letters to DalMi but orchestrates the present day lie in order to hide his identity from her.

Won In Jae(Kang Han Na) is DalMi's older sister. She does not lack anything and is wealthy and successful. However, she realizes that her background as a second-generation chaebol made her feel that she did not earn her own way so she decides to create success on her own by starting her own company
