Sypnosis

My Heart Is That Eternal Rose (殺手蝴蝶夢) is a 1989 Hong Kong drama film directed by Patrick Tam. It stars Tony Leung Chiu Wai as Cheung, Joey Wong as Lap and Kenny Bee as Rick Ma.



The triangular relationship between Lap. Rick and Cheung forms the backbone of this drama film. The young couple is separated under pressure from vicious Triad gangsters. Lap becomes a mobster’s unwilling moll, and Cheung travels abroad to work as an assassin. However, their love stays strong. When the two are reunited, their rekindled emotions lead them into extreme danger.
