Fated to Love You (Chinese: 命中注定我愛你) is a 2008 Taiwanese television series, starring Joe Chen and Ethan Juan.The series was adapted into Korean and Thai language versions with the Thai series dubbed in Filipino for release in the Philippines.This drama was nominated for six awards at the 43rd Golden Bell Awards in Taiwan and was awarded the 2008 Best Television Series and Best Marketing Programme.

Sypnosis

Fated To Love You (Chinese:命中注定我愛你)(2008)

Chen Xin Yi (Joe Chen) is known as ‘sticky note girl’ at a large law firm. Ji Cun Xi (Ethan Juan) is the director of a toiletries company who plans to propose to his long-time ballerina girlfriend on a ship. However, she does not board the ship as she chooses career advancement over Cun Xi.

On the ship, Xin Yi ends up taking some cold medicine which makes her feel drowsy and she unwittingly enters Cun Xi’s room. An island owner who does not want Cun Xi to close his hair product factory decides to spike Cun Xi’s drink so he can blackmail Cun Xi by snapping photos of him in a drugged situation. Cun Xi becomes disoriented and proceeds to his room.  Xin Yi and Cun Xi believes each other are each other’s partners and ends up having a one night stand. Later, Xin Yi finds out that she is pregnant.
